Four experienced players have left Altay due to the lack of payment as the team prepares to face İskenderunspor away in the 7th week of TFF 2nd League White Group.
Goalkeeper Ozan Ozenç, left-back Ozgur Ozkaya, defensive midfielder Ceyhun Gulselam, and striker Deniz Kadah did not join the İskenderun squad, making a stand against the management.
The crisis is said to stem from the non-payment of the victory bonuses from the second week’s win against Ankaraspor, along with a delayed salary payment made to staff yesterday. It has been reported that the Altay management decided to distribute the small amount of money received recently to the staff who have four months of salary owed. Upon learning of this decision, the experienced players reacted due to the long-standing non-payment of victory bonuses. Altay, which has a transfer ban and is competing with a youth-heavy squad, will have only Murat Uluc among the experienced players in the squad. The Izmir representative will field its young players in the challenging away match against İskenderun tomorrow.
Altay gerçekten bu sezon bir yere varabileceğini düşünüyor mu bu şekilde
