Sasa Obradovic: “We Won Thanks to Our Incredible Aggressive Defense”

Monaco coach Sasa Obradovic spoke after the game against Anadolu Efes on the eighth matchday of EuroLeague.

Following Monaco’s game against Anadolu Efes, Obradovic shared his thoughts:

“I congratulate my team. I think we did a great job. Winning here is not easy for any team. Our opponent is expected to be in the playoffs. We were aware that we were playing against a big team. It was a nice victory. We didn’t start very well. I can say we picked it up in the last 15 minutes. We played an incredibly aggressive defense, which also gave us a lot of confidence in our offense. I’m happy with everyone who stepped on the court and contributed. We put on an excellent team effort. We played together, and I’m happy with this win.

In the second half, we didn’t open up too much in pick-and-rolls. At first, we were aggressively stepping out. When we stopped doing that, we supported each other better and were able to stop the rolling player more effectively.”
