Simon Banza Shines as Trabzonspor Secures First Victory of the Season

In the 7th week of the Trendyol Süper Lig, Trabzonspor claimed their first win of the season, defeating TÜMOSAN Konyaspor 3-2, thanks to goals from Edin Visca and a brace from Simon Banza.

TRABZONSPOR CLAIMS FIRST WIN

Trabzonspor hosted Konyaspor at Papara Park and emerged victorious with a 3-2 scoreline. This victory marked Trabzonspor’s first win after five consecutive draws in the league, lifting them to 8 points and 9th place in the standings. Konyaspor, with the same points, now sits in 10th place.

SIMON BANZA NETS HIS FIRST GOALS FOR TRABZONSPOR

The goals for Trabzonspor came in the 16th minute from Edin Visca and two goals from Simon Banza in the 45+4’ (penalty) and 54th minutes. Banza’s goals were his first for the club. Konyaspor’s only goal came from Adil Demirbağ in the 24th minute.

UMUT NAYIR MISSES A PENALTY

Konyaspor’s Umut Nayir had the chance to bring his team closer with a penalty in the 80th minute, but his shot hit the post and went out.

INJURY WOES FOR OZAN TUFAN AND BAZOER

Trabzonspor’s Ozan Tufan and Konyaspor’s Riechedly Bazoer both left the pitch due to injuries. Ozan was replaced by Muhammed Cham in the 37th minute, while Bazoer was substituted in the 74th minute for Filip Damjanovic.
