Thomas Tuchel ‘in negotiations’ to Become Next England Manager

Former Chelsea Boss Linked with England Job Amid Carsley’s Unknown Future

Following the 3-1 loss of the Three Lions to Greece in the Nations League, former Chelsea and Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel is apparently under negotiations to become the next England national team coach. Tuchel is under negotiations for the position, claims Bild writer Christian Falk, with the Football Association (FA).

This announcement follows just one day after temporary manager Lee Carsley guided England to a dismal defeat against Greece. Having questioned his future with the senior team, Carsley voiced hope of returning to his under-21 post and suggested the defeat would have “almost no impact” on his hopes of permanently securing the senior post.

Following Gareth Southgate’s almost eight-year career, Tuchel has been connected with the England post before. It is yet unknown whether the FA will relocate to guarantee Tuchel’s availability.
