Toprak Razgatlıoglu believes that Andrea Iannone did an incredible job in securing his first World Superbike victory during the race in Aragon.
Iannone’s first WorldSBK win came despite a shoulder injury worsened by a crash in the third practice session on Saturday morning in Spain. Razgatlıoglu, the 2021 Superbike World Champion and current WorldSBK championship leader, thinks that Iannone’s victory was due to a “change in his riding style.” Speaking to WorldSBK.com, Razgatlıoglu expressed, “I am very happy for Iannone, especially as he did an amazing job in the last laps.”
“He usually rides in a very wild manner, but this time he was very calm and steady. He had a really good pace in the final laps and won the race.”
“He was really great. I congratulate him; he did an incredible job,” he commented.
