Trabzonspor has officially announced the mutual termination of the contract with Greek midfielder Taxiarchis Fountas. The club confirmed that the agreement, initially set from August 16, 2023, to June 30, 2025, has been mutually dissolved.
Fountas, who joined Trabzonspor from D.C. United at the start of the previous season, made 35 appearances for the Black Sea Storm, contributing 6 goals and 2 assists. Despite a promising start, both parties agreed to part ways, marking the end of Fountas’ time with the Turkish side.
