Trabzonspor Signs 23-Year-Old Austrian Midfielder Muhammed Cham
Trabzonspor has strengthened its midfield by signing Austrian midfielder Muhammed Cham. The club announced the transfer with the following statement:
“An agreement has been reached with Clermont for the permanent transfer of professional footballer Muhammed Cham Saracevic to our club. According to the agreement, Clermont will be paid a transfer fee of €4,000,000 in four installments.
A 4+1 year contract has been agreed upon with professional footballer Muhammed Cham Saracevic, with the option to extend the contract at the club’s discretion. According to the agreement, the player will receive a guaranteed salary of €1,375,000 for the 2024/2025 season, €1,275,000 for the 2025/2026 season, €1,275,000 for the 2026/2027 season, and €1,275,000 for the 2027/2028 season. If the club exercises the option, the player will receive a guaranteed salary of €1,400,000 for the 2028/2029 season. A management service fee of 5% of the player’s gross salary will also be paid.”
Cham, who joined Clermont during the summer transfer window of the 2020-21 season, played in 74 matches for the French team, contributing 15 goals and 8 assists.
