Trossard Injury Adds to Arsenal’s Woes

Leandro Trossard was substituted out of Belgium’s match against Israel in the UEFA Nations League, causing Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta to suffer yet another injury blow. With this latest injury, the Gunners now have six first-team players out.

With 15 appearances in Arsenal’s 17 games this season, the Belgian attacker has been instrumental, but he was forced off the pitch in the first half. His departure, along with that of Gabriel Jesus, William Saliba, and Bukayo Saka, adds to Arteta’s growing injury problems.

Belgium lost against Israel 1-0, which was frustrating because they were already without important players like Romelu Lukaku and Youri Tielemans. Trossard has been crucial to keeping Arsenal’s attacking balance, so the timing couldn’t be worse.

Although Trossard’s ailment is still unknown, a major layoff could hurt Arsenal’s performance at a crucial stretch of the season. The Belgian forward has emerged as a vital member of the team, so Arteta will be praying for a speedy recovery.
