Turkish National Team Travels to Iceland

The Turkish National Football Team has traveled to Iceland for their fourth match in the UEFA Nations League B Division. Before the match, the team will conduct their final training session in Iceland.

The Turkish team, which will face Iceland away on Monday, October 14, in Group 4 of the UEFA Nations League B Division, completed their final training in Samsun before departing.

The team left from Samsun Carsamba Airport on a private flight bound for Reykjavik, Iceland. Tomorrow, the team will finalize their preparations with a training session in Iceland.

According to a statement from the Turkish Football Federation (TFF), the players who started in yesterday’s match against Montenegro focused on recovery work at the hotel. The rest of the players participated in a field session at Samsunspor Football Academy’s Mustafa Kemal Erkanat Facilities under the direction of coach Vincenzo Montella. The session included warm-up exercises, passing, tactics, and finishing drills, concluding with a tactical game.

TFF Vice President Ceyhun Kazanci observed the training. At the end of the session, Samsunspor Football Director Fuat Capa and Football Academy Coordinator Savas Serdar presented Montella with flowers, wishing success for the Iceland match. Montella thanked them for their hospitality.

Montella and the national players also took a group photo with young players from the Samsunspor Academy after the session.
