Galatasaray player Yunus Akgün made statements after their victory against PAOK. Akgün emphasized, “I’m living my dreams. We are contenders for the trophy in every competition. Hopefully, we will win the European cup again, just like in 2000.”
In their first match of the UEFA Europa League, Galatasaray hosted PAOK and secured a 3-1 win.
Yunus Akgün, who celebrated a goal during the match, shared his thoughts:
“Thanks to all my teammates. We wanted to secure 3 points with the support of our fans. Today, we really fought hard. I enjoy playing on the field so much. Thanks to all my teammates for their efforts and hearts.”
Continuing his remarks, Yunus Akgün added, “In 2008, I entered the doors of Galatasaray. I’m realizing my dreams. We are aiming for trophies in all competitions. Hopefully, just like in 2000, we want to win the European cup again.”
