Frank Kaminsky is returning to the Phoenix Suns after spending a season in the EuroLeague with Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade. The 31-year-old power forward, who was part of the Suns’ run to the NBA Finals in 2021, previously played for the team from 2019 to 2022. His return was confirmed by his agency, Priority Sports.
Kaminsky played 30 games in the EuroLeague last season, starting 17, and averaged 8.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.6 assists. His contributions were a key part of Partizan Belgrade’s campaign, showcasing his versatile skill set and experience on the international stage.
Kaminsky’s NBA Journey
An eight-season NBA veteran, Kaminsky was originally drafted by the Charlotte Hornets in 2015, where he played his first four years. Since then, he’s had stints with the Suns, Atlanta Hawks, and Houston Rockets. Over 413 regular-season games, Kaminsky holds career averages of 8.8 points and 3.8 rebounds. He has also made 17 playoff appearances with the Hornets and Suns, where he averaged 4.2 points and 2.6 rebounds.
Kaminsky played a significant role in Phoenix’s 2021 run to the NBA Finals, contributing depth and experience to the team’s frontcourt.
