Galatasaray Executive Hatipoglu: No Canaydın Has Emerged from Fenerbahce

Galatasaray Sportif A.S. Vice President İbrahim Hatipoğlu criticized the treatment of fans during the recent Fenerbahce derby. In his remarks, he made a reference to sportsmanship towards their eternal rivals. Speaking to NTV, Hatipoğlu stated, “Ozhan Canaydın was a gentleman who has gone down in Turkish football history. After the 6-0 defeat, what Ozhan Canaydın did was unilateral. There was no follow-up from the other side. No one like Özhan Canaydın has emerged from their side.” He also commented on referee errors, suggesting, “All situations from the last two years should be evaluated by an authority they accept.”
