Galatasaray will face Switzerland’s Young Boys tonight in the UEFA Champions League play-off second leg. The match will kick off at 22:00 at RAMS Park and will be officiated by Norwegian referee Espen Eskas. It will be broadcast live on TRT 1 and the Tabii platform. Galatasaray’s Abdülkerim Bardakçı, who received a red card in the first leg in Switzerland, is unavailable. Zaha is also out of the squad due to illness. Whether the injured Davinson Sanchez will play will be determined today. Head coach Okan Buruk will also watch the game from the stands, as he did in the first leg, due to his suspension. JUST 90 MINUTES AWAY FROM A HUGE FORTUNE

Today’s match against Young Boys could certainly be called a “turning point of the season” for the yellow-red team. If they eliminate their opponents and qualify for the Champions League:

1- They will be entitled to receive €18.62 million as the UEFA Champions League participation fee. Additionally, they will earn financial rewards for each win and draw in the next stages.

TRANSFER POSSIBILITIES WILL OPEN UP
2- The money from UEFA will open up the currently closed transfer budget, allowing them to acquire players for positions they need to strengthen, especially left-back.

LESS CRITICISM, MORE CONFIDENCE
3- Head coach Okan Buruk and the players, who have been criticized due to a 5-0 loss in the Super Cup against Beşiktaş and a 3-2 defeat in the first leg against Young Boys, will be relieved and the team’s confidence will be restored.

CHANCE TO CATCH UP WITH CZECHIA
4- A win against Young Boys would increase Galatasaray’s chance to close the gap with Czechia, who are currently 9th in the UEFA country rankings, with Turkey in 10th place.

IF CIMBOM WINS BY A TWO-GOAL MARGIN, THEY WILL QUALIFY FOR THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
Having lost the first leg 3-2 away, Galatasaray must win by a two-goal margin to qualify for the newly formatted 36-team UEFA Champions League. If the match ends with a one-goal difference in favor of the yellow-red team, it will go to extra time. If the result remains unchanged in extra time, the winner will be decided by penalty shootouts. In the event of a draw or loss, Young Boys will qualify for the Champions League. The team that gets eliminated will continue in the UEFA Europa League group stage. If Beşiktaş eliminates Lugano, they will join Fenerbahçe, who have directly qualified for the group stage of the Europa League.
