Galatasaray claimed a 3-1 victory over Gaziantep FK in their Trendyol Süper Lig Matchday 3 rescheduled game, thanks to goals from Barış Alper Yılmaz, Yunus Akgün, and Michy Batshuayi, propelling them to the top of the league table.
The yellow-reds took an early lead in the 11th minute through a goal by Barış Alper Yılmaz.
In the 27th minute, Yunus Akgün doubled the advantage.
Michy Batshuayi sealed the win for Galatasaray with a third goal in the 76th minute.
Gaziantep’s sole goal came from Furkan Soyalp, who scored a spectacular long-range effort in the 82nd minute.
With this result, Galatasaray increased their points tally to 15, moving to the top of the Süper Lig standings.
