Gary Neville Insists He Has No Influence on Erik ten Hag’s Future

Despite attending discussions about the renovation of Old Trafford, Manchester United legend Gary Neville has stated that he has no influence over Erik ten Hag’s future with the team.

Neville was questioned if, as “someone on the inside,” he had any thoughts on Ten Hag’s stance during an interview with Ian Wright on The Overlap’s Stick to Football program. The former United defender made clear, nevertheless, that the only topic of conversation during his meetings with the team was the stadium’s revitalization plans.

“I’m not on the inside of it, no I’m not,” Neville responded. “I went on Monday to meet them about the regeneration side.”

When asked if football-related issues came up during his meeting, Neville firmly replied: “Not at all.”
