GASLY: “NO ONE COULD HAVE PREDICTED THAT WE COULD BE ON THE PODIUM WITH TWO VEHICLES”

Pierre Gasly, together with Esteban Ocon, became a great source of morale for his team with a very important podium for Alpine.

Gasly spoke to Sky Sports F1 after the race: “This result is an incredible achievement for the entire team.”

“We had a very difficult season and had a hard time getting points. In these circumstances, anything was possible. We believed until the end.”
“The fact that two vehicles are on the podium… I think no one could have predicted this at the beginning of the season. It’s really great. I feel incredible right now. I’m proud of the team.”
“It would be much easier to give up in such a difficult season, but we never gave up and we are here.”

“We have earned a lot of points for the team and everyone needs to be proud of themselves today.”
