Gerard Pique’s Shakira Confession After two Years
After two years, Gerard Piqué talks candidly about his breakup with Shakira.
Gerard Piqué, a former Barcelona football great, has discussed his split with singer Shakira in public, admitting that some of the information concerning their split was not totally true. The 11-year romance ended in June 2022, after Piqué was insulted in Shakira’s songs, which even likened him to “Voldemort.” However, Piqué has now expressed his viewpoint, saying that the reality of their breakup hasn’t been accurately represented.
Piqué’s Account of Events
Piqué talked about the media hysteria and speculations surrounding their split, especially the cheating accusations, in a recent interview with CNN.
“I can conclude that the truth is not presented in its entirety. I have no control over this circumstance. However, my friends, family, and loved ones are close by and are aware of who I am. This gives me great peace of mind,” implying that a lot of the information that was reported might not have been totally true.
After the Split, Life
After their breakup, Piqué moved on and is now seeing Clara Chia Marti, who is 25 years old. Despite Shakira’s criticism of his new girlfriend in her songs, Piqué has opted to stay out of the public eye and concentrate on her future. The issue became much more complicated in the summer of 2023 when reports surfaced that Clara Chia Marti had moved into the home that Piqué and Shakira had previously occupied.
