Giovanni Van Bronckhorst brings big surprises at Besiktas!
Besiktas head coach Giovanni Van Bronckhorst made important changes both in the starting 11 and in the game plan. The Dutch coach surprised everyone with his lineup and tactics in the Ajax match.
He benched Ciro Immobile and Joao Mario, who were in the starting 11 in the last Super Lig match against Eyupspor, replacing them with Mustafa Erhan Hekimoglu and Jean Onana. Immobile, who was on the bench for the first time this season, got a chance in the second half, coming on for Mustafa. Onana also made his first start of the season. Van Bronckhorst positioned Gedson Fernandes behind the striker and moved Rafa to the left wing.

When asked about the reason for the changes, the Dutch coach said, “We are considering the physical condition of our players. The last 10 days were tough. We have a large squad, and we will utilize all of our players.”
