The 21-year-old Danish right-back, who was transferred from Copenhagen for €9 million during the summer transfer window, has faced criticism and struggled to find playing time. According to a report by Milliyet, Buruk has expressed support for Jelert and provided an evaluation to the management.
“JELERT NEEDS TIME” | In the report, Buruk stated, “He may not have contributed so far, but he needs time. This is his first experience abroad, and he is a young player.” He added, “Jelert will become one of the key players in this team. He is a valuable player for us, and we will help Elias succeed. I know what he is capable of, and we will choose the right time for him.”
