Borussia Dortmund is apparently interested in recruiting Jobe Bellingham, a budding star for Sunderland, who might follow in the footsteps of his older brother Jude Bellingham.
At the age of 17, Jude Bellingham moved from Birmingham City to Dortmund, where he immediately established himself as a star player. In 2023, he signed a contract for up to £115 million ($148 million) to join Real Madrid. Jobe, who is currently 19 and making an impression at Sunderland, seems to be Dortmund’s next target. The Sun claims that Sunderland is requesting about £20 million ($26 million) in exchange for the young midfield player.
The Increasing Influence of Jobe at Sunderland
In his 60 appearances since moving from Birmingham to Sunderland in 2023, Jobe has contributed to Sunderland’s dominant standing at the top of the Championship standings as they look to return to the Premier League with nine goals and two assists. The younger Bellingham, who is keen to follow his brother’s great career with the Bundesliga club, has indicated interest in moving to Dortmund.
