Karsıyaka won at home.

In the 3rd week of the Turkiye Sigorta Basketball Super League, Karsiyaka defeated Mersinspor 107-81. This was Karsıyaka’s second victory in the league, while Mersinspor suffered its first defeat.

Karsıyaka started strong with Kenan Sipahi and Boutsiele, taking an early lead of 15-10 in the first 5 minutes. They ended the first period with a score of 29-22, having led by 9 points (23-14) in the last 3 minutes.

In the second period, Muhsin Yasar increased the lead to 8 points (35-27) with a dunk, but Mersinspor responded with better offense and narrowed the gap to 2 points by the 15th minute (38-36). In the final moments, Karsıyaka regained momentum with Kenan, ending the half with a score of 55-48.

At the beginning of the third period, Karsiyaka, with points from Jefferson and Russell, led by 20 points at the 25th minute (75-55). They finished the period with a score of 84-63.

Karsıyaka maintained its lead in the final period and concluded the match with a victory of 107-81.
