Kayserispor President Ali Camli Supports Burak Yilmaz

Kayserispor President Ali Camli expressed support for coach Burak Yilmaz, stating, “Burak will succeed and become a great coach.” In an interview with AA, Camli emphasized that Yilmaz is the most eager for victory in the team and criticized frequent coaching changes. He noted, “We manage a serious club; we cannot change the coaching staff like changing socks. Previous administrations changed coaches seven times in a year, and you can see where that led them. Losing matches is part of football. When Hikmet Karaman came, we lost 7-8 matches, but then the club finished well and reached the final in the Turkish Cup.”

Expressing complete confidence in Burak Yilmaz, Camli continued, “Discussing whether Burak should stay is absurd. Did we give him Messi and he played an amateur? He tries to do his best with the resources he has. Can I know football better than Burak? Burak Yilmaz is a king who has represented Turkey in European and world football. Should I teach Burak how to play football? He works tirelessly with the coaching staff. He considers himself a true son of Kayseri and works with dedication. No one should speculate about Burak; it won’t hold. At least while I am here, it won’t. Burak will succeed and become a great coach. When he leaves here, he will go to very big clubs.”
