Kevin Punter Shines as Barcelona Defeats Monaco

In the third round of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, Barcelona hosted AS Monaco.

The first leg of the EuroLeague double-match week concluded with a single game, where Barcelona emerged victorious, defeating AS Monaco 86-71. The Spanish team led the game from start to finish.

Turkish player Furkan Korkmaz, representing AS Monaco, was absent from the match due to injury.

With this victory, Barcelona secured their second win in three games. Their next match in the double-header will be an away game against Red Star Belgrade.

AS Monaco, suffering their first loss of the season, will now prepare to face Virtus Bologna at home.

For Barcelona, Kevin Punter led the charge with 21 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists. Nicolas Laprovittola added 13 points and 3 assists, while Jabari Parker contributed 16 points and 4 rebounds. Jan Vesely chipped in with 10 points and 5 rebounds, and Willy Hernangomez had 7 points and 5 rebounds. Dario Brizuela also added 9 points and an assist.

On the Monaco side, Elie Okobo led his team with 13 points and 6 assists. Mike James contributed 11 points and 1 assist, while Alpha Diallo added 12 points and 5 rebounds. Mam Jaiteh scored 10 points and grabbed 4 rebounds, with Donatas Motiejunas scoring 8 points and Jaron Blossomgame adding 7 points and 3 rebounds.
