“Kylian Mbappé Considers Suing PSG for €80 Million Bonus and Unpaid Wages”

Kylian Mbappé May Sue PSG for €80 Million Bonus and 2024 Wages

Kylian Mbappé is reportedly ready to sue Paris Saint-Germain if the club fails to pay him the €80 million bonus and his 2024 wages. According to his mother, Fayza Lamari, the Ligue 1 champions have yet to pay Mbappé the €80 million bonus and the salary for the first two months of 2024.

Contract and Payment Dispute

At 25, Mbappé left PSG in June after his contract expired and joined Real Madrid as a free agent on a five-year deal. Lamari told Le Parisien, “If we have no other option, of course, we can sue. I really hope that the contract we signed two years ago will be respected.”

Dispute Between PSG and Mbappé

Sources speaking to ESPN stated that PSG will not pay the amount owed to Mbappé and will use that money to cover the cost of his departure, which Mbappé agreed to in August. Lamari compared her son’s situation with PSG to a divorce, saying, “I trust PSG to quickly normalize things. We only received one letter… Decisions will be made. Sometimes when you separate, you have to decide who gets the TV, the furniture, or the car… That’s where we are. I hope all of this doesn’t tarnish everything we’ve experienced.”

Mbappé’s Transfer to Real Madrid

Mbappé was introduced in Madrid this week and had come very close to joining the Spanish giants two years ago but changed his mind at the last minute and signed a new contract with PSG until June 2024. Lamari said, “Kylian never lied. He always told the PSG president that he would go to Real Madrid one day. Of course, when it happens, it gets complicated. But apart from Madrid, we would never leave Paris. It wasn’t easy, but there are no regrets, just strong emotions. It was very, very hard for Kylian, that’s clear.”
