Barcelona’s young star, Lamine Yamal, has expressed his wish to play alongside his close friend Nico Williams at the club. Yamal and Williams formed a strong bond while playing for Spain during their triumph at Euro 2024, where both wingers were standout performers.

Barcelona had attempted to bring Williams to the Camp Nou, but the plan fell through when Williams opted to stay at Athletic Club.

In an interview with El Horminguero, Yamal said, “I would love to play with him every week, I hope so, but he is at Athletic at the moment.” He added: “We like the same things, we listen to the same music, we watch dances on TikTok… I like reggaeton, French music, Brazilian music.”
