LECLERC: “IT’S ABOUT THE TEAM, NOT NEWEY”
Charles Leclerc has stated that he is not disappointed with Adrian Newey’s decision to join Aston Martin.
Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc emphasized that Ferrari has always operated as a team rather than focusing on individuals, following Adrian Newey’s transfer to Aston Martin.
Leclerc expressed his satisfaction with the new technical structure and the leadership of team principal Frederic Vasseur. The Monegasque driver said: “There is no disappointment because I knew Adrian was being talked to. He made his decision, and we respect that.”
“In the end, as Ferrari, we’ve always prioritized the team over individuals.”
“Adrian has achieved great things, but we also have a great team.”
“I believe we will have a very strong team in the future as well. We can rise back to the top.”
“I have 200% confidence in Fred’s efforts to get the team in the best shape. I completely believe in and support his vision. We are in a constant process of improvement to take Ferrari even further, and I am very happy with this process.”
Le départ de Newey n’affectera pas l’équipe. Car le jeune Leclerc réalise une performance surhumaine et met l’équipe sur le dos.
