Leeds United have made a surprising move by signing former France international Josuha Guilavogui on a free transfer. The 34-year-old midfielder has signed a contract with Leeds that runs until the end of the season after being without a club since leaving Mainz in July.

Guilavogui’s Career and International Experience

Guilavogui has seven caps for the French national team, though his last appearance came in a friendly against Denmark in 2015. He is most well-known for his time at Wolfsburg, where he became a key figure, making 265 appearances for the Bundesliga club. His stint at Mainz, however, was short-lived, with the midfielder only making 12 appearances.
