Liverpool Signs Federico Chiesa from Juventus

Premier League side Liverpool has strengthened its attacking lineup by signing Federico Chiesa from Juventus.

The Merseyside club announced the transfer of the Italian winger on social media.

Chiesa began his football career in the youth academy of Fiorentina, where his father also played. In 2020, he joined Juventus. During his time with the Turin club, Chiesa made 131 appearances, scoring 32 goals and providing 20 assists. He was also a key player in Italy’s EURO 2020 triumph.

Since 2020, Chiesa has been wearing the black-and-white jersey of Juventus, for which the club paid Fiorentina approximately €60 million.
