Liverpool Told to Pay €100m for Jamie Bynoe-Gittens as Potential Mohamed Salah Replacement

Liverpool has been told that in order to acquire Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, a winger for Borussia Dortmund, as a possible Mohamed Salah replacement, they will have to pay €100 million (£83 million/$108 million). The Reds are getting ready for life without the Egyptian star as Salah enters the last year of his contract with no indications of an extension.

Attraction to Bynoe-Gittens

Bild claims that Liverpool has been keeping a careful eye on the development of the 20-year-old England Under-21 player, who has had a big impact for Dortmund this year. Bynoe-Gittens, who joined Dortmund from Manchester City’s academy in 2020, has contributed two assists and four goals in ten games this season in all competitions. Top teams, like Liverpool, are interested in him because of his performances, which have made him one of the best young players in European football.

Salah’s Prospects Are in Question

Liverpool is aggressively preparing for Salah’s possible departure, as he stated that he plans to “enjoy the last year” of his contract at Anfield. The Merseyside club is apparently ready to make a serious bid for Bynoe-Gittens, who has a contract with Dortmund through 2028, even if no trade has been finalized.
