As Fenerbahçe continues its transfer activities, shocking truths about the departure of key players have surfaced. Here are the details…
While Fenerbahçe, under the management of Jose Mourinho, is focusing on success both in the Süper Lig and Europe by signing major stars, the players who have left the club have also become a hot topic. SEPARATION WITH PEDRO
Luan Peres, who was signed for €5.23 million from Marseille in the summer of 2022, was sent to Brazilian club Santos on a free transfer. Joao Pedro, who joined Fenerbahçe from Cagliari for €4.68 million in the same transfer window, had his contract terminated. Lastly, Rade Krunic, who arrived from Milan for €3.5 million, also left on a free transfer to Serbian club Red Star Belgrade.
50% SELL-ON CLAUSE FOR KRUNIC
Although Krunic did not bring in any transfer fee, Sabah reported that Fenerbahçe included a clause to receive 50% of any future transfer fee if Krunic is sold. The Bosnian midfielder, who signed a 2+1 year contract with Red Star, ended his stint in Turkey without completing a full year.
