Man Utd Official Watches Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia Amid Contract Uncertainty

Since Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, a winger for Napoli, has not yet agreed to a new contract with the Serie A team, Manchester United has reportedly dispatched an official to watch the Georgian star play against Empoli. Due to their impressive performances in Napoli’s 1-0 victory over Empoli, Kvaratskhelia and his teammate Alessandro Buongiorno are reportedly of interest to United.

The Red Devils were especially pleased with Kvaratskhelia, who scored the game-winning penalty kick, and Buongiorno, who assisted Napoli in keeping a clean sheet, according to Tuttomercatoweb. Kvaratskhelia’s current contract expires in 2027, and he has been in negotiations for a new one but has not yet achieved an agreement.

Kvaratskhelia’s Demands from Napoli

According to reports, Napoli is keen to incorporate a €100 million (£83 million/$108 million) release clause in Kvaratskhelia’s new contract, meaning that any possible deal will not be inexpensive for Manchester United. The winger stayed with Napoli for the 2023–24 campaign after being linked to a move to Paris Saint-Germain throughout the summer.
