Manisa Basket continues to make headlines with impactful signings. After starting the Basketball Champions League with two wins, the team lost star player Saben Lee to Maccabi Tel Aviv but is quickly filling the gap with another NBA-caliber player.
Manisa Basket has officially announced the signing of Troy Brown Jr., who has six years of NBA experience.
In their statement, the team said:
“Troy Brown Jr., who impressed at the University of Oregon and was selected 18th overall in the 2018 NBA Draft by the Washington Wizards, has played for the Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Detroit Pistons, appearing in a total of 356 games. Known for his versatility and strong performance on both ends of the floor, our new player is ready to be a key part of the team for the rest of the season.”
Last season, Brown Jr. played for the Minnesota Timberwolves and Detroit Pistons, where he appeared in 59 games, averaging 4.2 points and 2.4 rebounds per game.
