Chelsea Manager Enzo Maresca’s recent comments about Raheem Sterling have garnered significant attention. Reports suggest that Chelsea has offered Sterling to Bayern Munich, but the German club declined due to the 29-year-old’s age, high salary, and lack of fit within their squad. Sterling has also been linked with a potential move to Fenerbahçe.
According to sources, Sterling currently earns around €20 million per season at Chelsea. However, he no longer plays a central role in the team’s plans. In fact, Sterling was notably absent from Chelsea’s lineup in their season opener against Manchester City, and his squad number has been revoked, with no new number assigned yet.
Maresca, addressing the situation, stated, “I spoke to Raheem before the Manchester City match. To be honest, he won’t get any playing time here.”
Sterling, who joined Chelsea in 2022 for €56.2 million, has struggled to recapture the form that made him one of Europe’s most sought-after players during his time at Manchester City. With Chelsea, he has scored 19 goals and provided 12 assists in 81 appearances, but his future at the club appears uncertain. His contract with Chelsea runs until 2027.
Sterling eski Sterling değil artık, bu kadar para etmez, ancak bizim ligimize de gelmez, gelirse çok büyük bir transfer olacaktır.
