Mario Hezonja on FIBA-EuroLeague schedule: ‘Absolutely ridiculous

Mario Hezonja has expressed his opinion regarding national team games and the fact that there are still schedule conflicts between EuroLeague and FIBA.

“Is there anyone else who thinks it is absolutely ridiculous that there are still schedule conflicts and no agreement about NT qualifying games during the season?” Hezonja tweeted.

Since the windows system introduction, there have been many debates about the scheduling issue. Even though some progress was made, including the EuroLeague adjustment for February windows, the problem clearly remains.

Despite voicing his dissatisfaction, Hezonja is set to represent Croatia in the upcoming FIBA window, as he received permission from Real Madrid to join his national team.

This season, Hezonja has been averaging 12.9 points and 4.7 rebounds in the EuroLeague.
