Marius Grigonis out for over a month due to serious back injury

Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens shooting guard Marius Grigonis is dealing with a serious back injury and is expected to be sidelined for 4-6 weeks, coach Ergin Ataman confirmed
“Grigonis has a serious back problem. I think he will be out for 1 to 1.5 months,” Ataman said, according to SDNA.

Grigonis has appeared in four EuroLeague games this season, starting two of them, and has averaged 3.0 points, 1.0 assists, and 2.8 PIR.

This injury means the 30-year-old Lithuanian will miss at least the next seven EuroLeague games.
During the previous EuroLeague title run, Grigonis played one of the key roles on the roster, averaging 9.1 points and 2.7 rebounds per game in just under 25 minutes of playing time.
