Maxim Aims for 3 Points Against Besiktas
In the 8th week of the Super Lig, Gaziantep FK will host Besiktas. Ahead of the match, Alexandru Maxim expressed the team’s goal of securing all three points.
The Romanian player stated that Gaziantep FK aims to leave with a victory against Besiktas in tomorrow’s match.
Maxim: “We Need to Start Winning”
Speaking to reporters at the club’s training facilities, Maxim acknowledged that they haven’t made the desired start to the season. He noted that they began the season with a challenging fixture list, having played four away matches. “There are many areas where we need to improve. We are a newly formed team. After six weeks, the team has started to play together. We need to start winning matches now. I am positive about this. Once everything falls into place, we will begin to win our games,” he stated.
“Our Priority is to Secure 3 Points”
Maxim emphasized that the Besiktas match is just another game for them. “I am trying to convey this to the new players in the team. Gaziantep used to be a different community. It was never easy to come here and win. We need to return to that winning mentality. It doesn’t matter if it’s Goztepe or Besiktas. Our priority is to win the 3 points and get out of this situation.”
