Meler assigned by FIFA

FIFA-listed referee Halil Umut Meler will officiate the FIFA Intercontinental Cup second-round match between Egypt’s Al Ahly and the United Arab Emirates’ Al Ain on Tuesday, October 29.

According to information on the Turkish Football Federation’s website, Meler will be joined by assistants Ibrahim Caglar Uyarcan and Murat Tugberk Curbay at Cairo Stadium in Egypt’s capital, with kickoff set for 20:00. Zorbay Kucuk will serve as the fourth official.

The match will feature Aleandro Di Paolo from the Italian Football Federation as VAR and Marco Di Bello as AVAR.
