Mike Daum: “It Was Great to Return to Turkey and See Familiar Faces”

Crvena Zvezda’s star forward Mike Daum spoke about his feelings after his team’s victory over Fenerbahçe Beko in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.

Daum, who previously played for Anadolu Efes, shared his thoughts on returning to Turkey and reflecting on his EuroLeague journey:

“It was really great to come back to Turkey. My EuroLeague career started here last year when I had the opportunity with Anadolu Efes. This place feels familiar. I saw some familiar faces, and it was amazing to be back and play basketball.

As a team, we played really well. We fought hard and stuck together through the ups and downs, which gave me confidence. I just went out there and tried to do my best. We did everything we could to win. I have great respect for the coaching staff. They encourage you to give your all, and I love everyone here.”

Daum’s return to Turkey was marked by a solid performance and a satisfying victory for Crvena Zvezda.
