Milan Ends Winless Streak in Champions League

In the third matchday of the Champions League, Milan hosted Club Brugge at San Siro and secured a 3-1 victory, marking their first points of the competition this season.

The match ended with goals from Christian Pulisic in the 34th minute, Tijjani Reijnders in the 61st and 71st minutes for Milan, and an own goal by Milan’s Sabbe in the 51st minute. Club Brugge’s task was made even harder when Raphael Onyedika received a red card in the 40th minute, leaving his team with 10 men for the majority of the game.

One of the highlights of the night was Pulisic’s goal, where he scored directly from a corner, stunning both teams. Milan’s young striker, Francesco Camarda, had a goal disallowed in the 87th minute after a VAR review showed he was offside.

With this result, Milan not only claimed their first victory but also moved up to 3 points in the group. Club Brugge remains on 3 points after three matches.

In the fourth week of the competition, Milan will face Real Madrid away, while Club Brugge will host Aston Villa.
