NBA results of the day

The Cleveland Cavaliers started the season with 11 out of 11 in the American Basketball League (NBA) by defeating the Brooklyn Nets 105-100 at home.

The NBA continued with 4 games. The Cavaliers continued their undefeated path by winning the game they hosted against the Nets with Evan Mobley’s 23 points, 16 rebounds, Donovan Mitchell’s 22 points and Darius Garland’s 20 points.

Cameron Johnson’s 23 points, Cam Thomas and Dennis Schröder’s 22 each couldn’t prevent the Nets from suffering their sixth loss of the season.

WEMBANYAMA MADE HISTORY

San Antonio Spurs’ French star Victor Wembanyama made NBA history in their 111-110 loss to the Utah Jazz.

Wembanyama had 24 points, 16 rebounds and 7 blocks, 6 of which came from behind the three-point line. The young French basketball player became the first player in NBA history to play with 20 points, 15 rebounds, 5 blocks and 5 three-pointers or more in more than one game.

Stephon Castle scored 23 points and Devin Vassell scored 21 for the host Spurs, who suffered their sixth defeat of the season.

Collin Sexton scored 23 points and Lauri Markkanen scored 20 for the Jazz, who earned their second win.

San Antonio Spurs-Utah Jazz: 110-111

Cleveland Cavaliers-Brooklyn Nets: 105-100

Atlanta Hawks-Chicago Bulls: 113-125

Los Angeles Clippers-Toronto Raptors: 105-103
