New decision for the controversial match

As part of the investigation conducted by the Trabzon Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, it was decided to send the files of four players and 23 fans to the reconciliation office regarding the incidents that occurred after the match between Trabzonspor and Fenerbahçe played on March 17.

According to information received from the Trabzon Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, in connection with the events during the Trabzonspor-Fenerbahçe match, the investigation identified individuals who entered the field: H.Ç, K.O, O.B, A.A, M.H.K, E.Y, E.Y, G.Ç, H.Ş, M.B, M.O, Ö.F.Ş, R.B, S.A, S.K, A.S, Y.Ç, M.A.K, Y.E, Y.K, F.B, H.E, and R.A. Their cases were sent to the reconciliation office under the relevant articles of the laws.

Additionally, the files of players Osayi Samuel, Jayden Oosterwolde, İrfan Can Eğribayat, and Michy Batshuayi, who was playing for Fenerbahçe at the time, were also sent to the reconciliation office.

The file of Egemen Korkmaz, a former assistant coach of Trabzonspor, was also forwarded to the reconciliation office.

As a result of the investigation, it was determined that other Fenerbahçe players’ actions fell within the scope of self-defense, leading to a decision that no further action would be taken against them.

It was also reported that judicial actions were initiated against 84 fans who entered the field but did not physically attack any players.
