NORRIS BECOMES MCLAREN’S ‘TOP SCORING DRIVER’ BY PASSING HAMILTON

Lando Norris finished fourth at the United States Grand Prix last weekend, surpassing Lewis Hamilton’s total points for McLaren.

Norris has reached 930 points for McLaren, surpassing the 913 points Hamilton accumulated during his time with the Woking-based team. However, it’s important to note that Hamilton received only 10 points for race wins in his first three seasons at McLaren, as only the top eight drivers earned points during that time.

The current points system was implemented in 2010.
