Nuri Sahin angry despite the victory: “This cannot continue”

Borussia Dortmund head coach Nuri Sahin criticized his team’s defensive mistakes after their 2-1 victory over St. Pauli.

In the opening match of the 7th week in the Bundesliga, Borussia Dortmund defeated St. Pauli 2-1 at home, but after the match, Nuri Sahin expressed his dissatisfaction with the team’s defensive approach.

Speaking about the 78th-minute goal scored by St. Pauli’s Swedish defender Eric Smith, which made the score 1-1, Sahin said, “The way we defend deeply upsets me. Moments like these determine whether we have 11 or 13 points in the league. We conceded similar goals against Celtic and Union Berlin. This can’t go on like this.”
