Nuri Sahin’s Efforts Weren’t Enough to Stop Real Madrid: An Incredible Comeback

On matchday 3 of the UEFA Champions League, Arda Güler’s Real Madrid hosted Nuri Sahin’s Borussia Dortmund. Despite being 2-0 down at halftime, Real Madrid completed a stunning comeback to win 5-2.

The match ended 5-2 in favor of Real Madrid. Dortmund’s goals came from Malen in the 30th minute and Bynoe-Gittens in the 34th minute. Real Madrid equalized with goals from Rüdiger in the 60th minute and Vinicius in the 62nd minute.

Lucas Vazquez put Real Madrid ahead in the 83rd minute, and Vinicius Jr. sealed the victory with goals in the 86th and 90+3rd minutes.

With this result, Borussia Dortmund, coached by Nuri Sahin, remains on 6 points, while Real Madrid also moved up to 6 points.

ARDA GÜLER ENTERED IN THE 90TH MINUTE

Arda Güler started the match on the bench for Real Madrid and entered the game in the 90th minute.

In their next Champions League match, Borussia Dortmund will face Sturm Graz at home, while Real Madrid will host AC Milan.

NURI SAHIN MAKES HISTORY AGAINST REAL MADRID

Borussia Dortmund’s strong first-half performance led to a rare situation for Real Madrid. It was the first time since their match against Shakhtar Donetsk on October 21, 2020, that Real Madrid trailed by two goals at halftime in a home game in the Champions League.
