OFFICIAL: Andre Roberson Joins ASVEL
EuroLeague team ASVEL has officially signed 32-year-old Andre Roberson, who joins the French side after a brief stint with Cholet.
Roberson, born in New Mexico, played college basketball with Colorado from 2010 to 2013 before beginning his NBA career with the Oklahoma City Thunder from 2013 to 2020. His last NBA appearance was with the Brooklyn Nets in the 2020/21 season. Over 307 NBA games, Roberson averaged 4.5 points and 4.0 rebounds, primarily known for his defensive prowess.
In the early part of the 2024/25 season with Cholet, Roberson impressed in the FIBA Europe Cup, posting averages of 11.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.7 steals per game.
Roberson’s addition brings defensive strength and experience to ASVEL as they aim to strengthen their EuroLeague campaign.
