Official: Aston Martin sacks Dan Fallows as technical director

Dan Fallows will not take on the role of head coach in the new term.

According to the official statement, Dan Fallows will leave his position as technical director this month, having held the position for the last two years.

Fallows will remain with Aston Martin, but the technical director position will be given to someone else.

Such a move was already expected after Aston Martin signed Enrico Cardile and Adrian Newey.

Group CEO Andy Cowell said: “I would like to thank Dan for his contribution to Aston Martin Aramco over the last two years.”

“Dan led the team to the success of the AMR23 last season, achieving eight podiums,” he said.

Dan Fallows said: “It has been a pleasure and a privilege to guide the technical team during my time at Aston Martin.

“It’s time for me to pass the baton.”

“Even though I am leaving, I am looking forward to watching the team achieve future success – which I am sure will come very soon.”
