Okan Buruk’s Statement After Hospital Release: Everything is Fine, I’m Good
Galatasaray head coach Okan Buruk has been discharged from the hospital after a successful appendectomy. Buruk stated, “Everything is fine. We are on the job. I’m good.”
Buruk was taken to the hospital due to sudden illness and underwent surgery for appendicitis. The experienced coach was discharged around noon today after a successful operation.
At the hospital exit, Buruk told Demiroren News Agency (DHA), “Everything is fine. We are on the job. I’m good.” He was accompanied by Abdullah Kavukcu, Vice Chairman of Galatasaray Sportif A.S. Buruk also mentioned that he will be in charge of the team for the Beşiktaş derby, which will be played on October 28, Monday, in the 10th week of the Super Lig.
Additionally, Okan Buruk will lead the team in the final training session before the derby tomorrow.
