Victor Osimhen, who joined Galatasaray on loan from Napoli in the summer transfer window, continues to attract transfer rumors. In a surprising development, Saudi Arabian clubs are reportedly interested in the Nigerian star.
According to Spain’s Fichajes, Saudi clubs are eager to bring Osimhen into their league to increase its competitiveness and establish Saudi football as a global attraction.
NAPOLI OPEN TO THE IDEA
Napoli, which holds Osimhen’s registration, reportedly sees a high-value transfer to Saudi Arabia as likely. Should the right offers come in, Osimhen could potentially leave Galatasaray as early as January. If not, his transfer could still take place next summer.
RELEASE CLAUSE IN PLACE
The star striker’s release clause is set at 75 million euros, but if a team other than Galatasaray wants to transfer Osimhen in January, this amount will rise to 81 million euros. Should the transfer occur in January, 6 million euros of this fee will be paid to Galatasaray as compensation.
REJUVENATED AT GALATASARAY
Since donning the yellow and red jersey, Osimhen has impressed both fans and the coaching staff with his on-field performances. In his 6 official appearances for Galatasaray, he has scored 3 goals and provided 5 assists.
HIS RESPONSE TO LEAVING QUESTIONS
“I was planning to leave in 3-4 months, move elsewhere, but then I spoke with Okan Buruk. He deeply impacted me as a coach, a person, and a father figure. He told me about the quality of the team and the big goals they had. Playing with these players and achieving success was convincing. When I arrived, I saw how serious this club truly is. As a family, we’re very happy here.”
