Onuralp Bitim signs with Fenerbahce long-term, goes to Bayern Munich on loan
Onuralp Bitim has officialized his agreement with Fenerbahce that will last until the end of the 2027-28 season. However, the swingman will spend the current season with Bayern Munich.
Fenerbahce BEKO Istanbul have announced their agreement with Onuralp Bitim until the end of the 2027-28 season. BasketNews’ Donatas Urbonas first reported about the deal on November 3.

Bitim, 25, one of the most important talents of the country’s basketball, last played for the Chicago Bulls. As part of the agreement, he will spend the 2024-25 season with FC Bayern Munich.
The Turkish forward joined Anadolu Efes in 2016 and was promoted to the first team in 2017-2018. He stayed with Efes until 2019, when he joined Pınar Karsiyaka.
However, he experienced the rise of his career with Bursaspor, where he spent the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons, achieving averages of 12.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists in his maiden campaign with the team, and 18.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists in the second one, in addition to making the 2022 EuroCup finals.
In the summer of 2023, Bitim signed with the Bulls, where he shared time between the NBA team and its G League franchise, the Windy City Bulls. He averaged 3.5 points and 1.4 rebounds in 23 games in the NBA, and 14.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 3.4 assists in 22 games in the development league.
