Oscar Hiljemark from Elfsborg on Galatasaray: “We’ll Set Our Tactics”

Ahead of their UEFA Europa League match against Galatasaray, Swedish side Elfsborg’s 32-year-old head coach, Oscar Hiljemark, stated that they aim to progress further in the tournament. Hiljemark and player Johan Larsson spoke to the media at RAMS Park.

Hiljemark acknowledged the challenge of the upcoming match: “Tomorrow’s game will be very tough. We’ll do our best individually and collectively.” He also emphasized their ambition to advance to the next rounds, adding, “We know there’s a long road ahead, and we’ll set our tactics accordingly.”

Assessing Galatasaray’s attacking power, Hiljemark said, “We’re aware of their individual abilities and skills. We’ll play using the methods we know.”

LARSSON: “WE’LL PLAY OUR OWN GAME”
Elfsborg’s 34-year-old right-back, Johan Larsson, praised Galatasaray fans for creating an incredible atmosphere. He stressed, “We’re not focusing on their top players. Tomorrow, we’ll play our own game. The atmosphere will be intense, but we’ll try to implement what we’ve worked on.”

ELFSBORG COMPLETE PREPARATIONS
The first 15 minutes of Elfsborg’s training at RAMS Park were open to the media. The session started with warm-up exercises and passing drills, followed by tactical preparation for the Galatasaray match.

Elfsborg will face Galatasaray at 17:30 tomorrow at RAMS Park.
